Consensus UFC GOAT Jon Jones took to social media and dropped some inspirational messages in response to a fan’s tweet. The tweet outlined certain struggles the fan has faced in his life, and Jones decided to share some words of encouragement. However, fans can’t help but draw parallels from his comments to the most recent controversy he was embroiled in.
Jones was arrested for felony vehicular tampering and misdemeanor domestic assault in the early hours of the morning following his induction into the UFC Hall of Fame. ‘Bones’ was out in Las Vegas after the induction ceremony wrapped up and trouble soon found him. Jones’ troubles understandably made headlines and media coverage surrounded him heavily.

Jones’ social media post includes some sentiments that could easily be applied to his current predicament. Many fans believe that his recent post is a way of addressing his own mindset when the incident allegedly took place. Chiefly, this is the second time that Jones is making reference to battling demons following his controversial run-in in Las Vegas.

In a previous Instagram story, Jones was seen weight-lifting merely days after the incident, and a caption around him gave light into his situation. ‘Bones’ vowed to keep away from alcohol and made it clear that it was something he was battling with. UFC President Dana White simply said that Jones’ decision to abstain from alcohol consumption was overdue.
Despite some scathing details about his aforementioned run-in with the law, Jon Jones is yet to address the incident publicly. He has used his Instagram stories as his main source of communication with the MMA community. Here, it’s important to note that a majority of Jon Jones’ comments are up for interpretation as he’s refrained from making statements outright.
