Since then, ‘Gamebred’ struggled to regain the tremendous form that once made him a menacing force. However, the beast finally got an opportunity to unleash his rage. As Dana White and UFC gave him a great match-up against #5 welterweight-ranked fighter, Gilbert Burns. Therefore, the athlete with a Cuban heritage prepared a sweet and sour message for his opponent and shared it with all MMA fans and followers. Despite his warning, neutral fans have a divisive take on this fight.

Fans think Jorge Masvidal won’t have the last laugh against Gilbert Burns

On an Instagram post, Jorge Masvidal attempted to instill fear into his opponent, Burns, ahead of their clash at UFC 287 in April. But, fans of ‘Durinho’ came to his aid in the comments section of this post.

Many of them, stated that Burns is a clear favorite, due to his excellent form, coming off of a victory against Neil Magny at UFC 283.

On the Instagram post, Jorge Masvidal was cooking dinner for his family. But headdressed Gilbert Burns and said “My brother gilbert, Love and respect. I think you’re a great fighter.”

He also added “But I’m gonna do you just like I did this meat, my brother. You gon’ get cooked April 8th. I’ll see you, everybody,” and lifted a piece of grilled meat. Therefore, Masvidal is eager to get into the Octagon and roast his opponents.
