Israel Adesanya suffered a disappointing title fight defeat and surrendered his belt to Alex Pereira at UFC 281. ‘The Last Stylebender’ had admitted that it was a hard loss for him. However, instead of focusing solely on regaining his middleweight championship, he seems to have taken time away from training and fighting. A video has surfaced on Instagram that showed Adesanya enjoying clear blue seas on a boat with his girlfriend. This clip drew plenty of reactions from the UFC middleweight champion’s fans.

Adesanya looked in good spirits and clearly had a good time away from the game. Unfortunately for him, it may have been ruined, as he received a lot of “gay” slurs from ‘Poatan’s supporters who seemed to have been on a victory hangover.

There were multiple “gay” comments, and it seemed that Pereira fans were not in the mood to move ahead from the UFC 281 results. A user commented, “Not his girl you can tell… Isn’t he gay?”

Israel Adesanya and Alex Pereira were going toe-to-toe in the first four rounds of their encounter at UFC 281. Many would believe that Adesanya was dominating the challenger with take-downs, too. The end, however, was an anti-climax as ‘Poatan’ came out firing on all four cylinders after a passionate corner talk from his coach.

Despite dominating in earlier rounds, Adesanya was left rattled by Alex Pereira‘s accurate strikes. The referee stopped the fight after a flurry of punches went unanswered to hand the Brazilian his third win over the Nigerian-born Kiwi in professional combat. Hence, Pereira is currently proving to be the kryptonite for ‘The Last Stylebender’.

Despite that alarming stat, Adesanya, who is eager to open his account against his nemesis, had earlier expressed his desire to re-match Pereira.
