The year 2024 has not been sunshine and rainbows for Conor McGregor. He had already not fought in the Octagon for almost 3 years due to injuries and whatnot and then a civil lawsuit ran into him, hampering the rest of the year for ‘The Notorious’. Not only did he lose the civil lawsuit but also several business sponsorships as a result of the civil lawsuit fallout. After losing the legal battle against Nikita Hand, he vehemently tried to prove his innocence through social media while his fiance Dee Devlin continued to support him.

Conor McGregor did not file an appeal against the case

According to Sunday World, Conor McGregor’s US spokesperson revealed that the 36-year-old has until February 13 to make an appeal. Karen Kessler, a public relations expert specializing in crisis communications and reputation management, had said to the news outlet that the deadline for the appeal will not fall until February of this year.

She said, “The appeal is not due for 28 days after January 16. However, McGregor’s legal team has not filed any appeal yet. Yet, in November McGregor had said that he would appeal against this case. “I will be appealing today’s decision, he confirmed on social media after the verdict was given to him.

So this poses a question as to why he has not appealed yet. Is it his various businesses he’s trying to save, or fulfill his roles as a promoter, amid trying to get a boxing fight done in India? Only he can answer those questions at this point, but McGregor has not said anything yet. On the other hand, Dee Devlin is in full support of her fiance and voiced her opinion on social media while spending quality time with her fiance.

McGregor spends quality time with family amid chaotic life

Dee Devlin has stood beside her partner like a pillar through the legal storm and defended him on social media several times. Even in this strife, the McGregor family is spending quality time with each other. ‘Mystic Mac’ recently shared a snippet of riding a quad bike with his youngest son on the beach. He previously showed his affection for his son Mack and wrote, “He cooler than me already, damn! Ah well, he is my creation.” Hailing him a “Little Buzzer,” he also added, “Cool as it gets! Mack McGregor 1.”

However, even in this, McGregor’s fiance – the mother of his four children – still has a shadow looming over her on what happened in these few months. The whole world was turned towards her, wanting to know what she felt about the civil lawsuit. The moment of truth finally arrived when she decided to address the same through Instagram. The 37-year-old raised several thought-provoking questions about Nikita Hand, questioning why she was even in a hotel room withThe Notorious’ in the first place.

Aggressively attacking Hand’s character, Devlin wrote, Imagine a woman, with her boyfriend and child, texting provocative pictures of herself to another woman’s man with a family and child on the way. This woman claims to know me, yet still went ahead and sent messages and pictures of herself over and over to my man? Really?”.

Even though her questions carry a lot of weight, the jury ruled against her fiance in the court. As we have arrived in 2025, the main question is whether McGregor is going to make a legal appeal against the decision. What do you think? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
