In one of his recent interviews, ‘the Hammer’ opened up about the playful incident. The incident happened after one of Joe Rogan’s comedy events. And what started as a friendly hug ended up being a vigorous push.

In the viral video that becomes the talk of UFC town occasionally, Mark Coleman gives a powerful push to Joe Rogan. The UFC commentator then almost ends up colliding with a nearby wall. Luckily, the former Fear Factor host escapes unscathed without sustaining any injury.

In a recent interview with Hannibal TV, Coleman opened up about this Joe Rogan incident. ‘The Hammer’ mentioned that he met Joe Rogan after his comedy show event. Further, he cleared up that he was not drunk, contrary to what people narrate.

The UFC Hall of Famer further narrated the incident and told that Rogan hit him with a slick arm drag after their hug. Undoubtedly, Joe Rogan didn’t match Coleman in brute strength.

Surprisingly, the former UFC champion found himself in a tricky situation, with Joe Rogan having his back. He detailed the account and confessed that it left him with no other choice. Thus, he said, “All of a sudden, out of instinct, I had no choice but to turn around and face him, and I would say I gave him a gentle push. Because I could’ve given him a hundred times more.

Coleman, 55, thereupon declared the UFC color commentator as “cool as hell”, “funny as sh*t” and “awesome.”

Thereafter, he clarified to contrary to popular opinion; the incident didn’t upset Rogan. But how the incident panned out surprised Rogan. Coleman explained the reason and then concluded, “No, he [Joe Rogan] just can’t believe how freaking strong I was.”

This was not even the first friendly banter involving the two. The duo met for the first time during UFC 12. The event where Coleman won the inaugural heavyweight championship, and Joe Rogan took up the interview duties for the first time.

After winning the bout, the intoxicated wrestler was in high spirits, and in his post-fight interview, he unleashed a barrage of f-bombs. This made Rogan comment that the wrestler could use another fight.

Because of obvious reasons, Coleman’s interview was cut off short. Afterward, Coleman picked up Rogan and spun him in a helicopter motion. Surely this was a unique first encounter and an apt prelude to their second and more popular incident.
