Paddy Pimblett will look to complete a trio of wins for the year at UFC 282 on December 10. This will mark his fourth fight under the UFC banner. As he prepares to perform for the crowds again, “The Baddy” shared an inspiring story for the fans.
The rising lightweight made his UFC debut in 2021 and has amassed three wins so far. He has also generated a lot of hype and a huge fan following from his home country. Pimblett posted an inspiring throwback story involving the legendary UFC announcer, Bruce Buffer, on his social media.

Pimblett fulfilled his promise to Bruce Buffer
Paddy Pimblett shared an image of him and Bruce Buffer from 11 years ago. It showed a young Pimblett posing for a picture with Buffer. According to “The Baddy“, he met Buffer after a UFC event in Birmingham.

“11 years ago this week I met @brucebufferufc in Birmingham after the ufc and I told him in years to come you’ll be announcing my name in vegas… and in 5 weeks he will @ufc 282 when I blow the roof of the gaff once again!” wrote the England native.
Buffer shared the post from BT Sport about the throwback on his own Instagram Story. He shared his appreciation and congratulated Pimblett for coming through on his words. “So awesome to see! @THEUFCBADDY has always his eyes on the prize,” wrote Buffer.

The Scouser will have proved himself right on every count at UFC 282. The event will see the UFC return to the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, where several historic UFC PPVs including UFC 229 have gone down. Hopefully, “The Baddy” will also make it a historic night for himself against a remarkable opponent in Jared “Flash” Gordon.
Paddy Pimblett vs. Jared Gordon- an overview
The 27-year-old Pimblett will enter the UFC cage for the fourth time against veteran lightweight Jared Gordon. The 34-year-old Gordon will look to end Pimblett’s undefeated UFC run on December 10. It was Gordon who called out the Pimblett after his win over Leandro Santos at UFC 278.

However, “Flash” does not underestimate his opponent in the slightest. All three of Pimblett’s UFC wins have been finishes, with the last two via rear naked chokes. Gordon is aware of how Pimblett is dangerous both on his feet and on the ground.
Additionally, Gordon also holds a win over Pimblett’s teammate Chris Fishgold in the UFC. He was also on the list of names the Liverpool native called out after signing with the UFC. Gordon also stated that he’d be a step up in competition for Pimblett.
