But the UFC veteran and former Middleweight and Light Heavyweight fighter Michael Bisping did not like Paul targeting ‘Poatan.’ He instead gave the former Disney star turned boxer another opponent who would match his checklist and become his perfect opponent.

Michael Bisping presents Jake Paul with the perfect opponent

Jake Paul was supposed to fight  Mike Tyson, however, the GOAT had an ulcer flare at the last moment and the fight had to be pushed back. However, Paul continued his run of beating legends as he defeated Mike Perry in the 6th round. Bisping was not too happy about the match though and he commented about it on his YouTube channel. The 45-year-old was furious at Paul’s decision to continue fighting undersized MMA fighters as his opponents. Even though Paul challenged Pereira who is 6’4” and fights at 205, Bisping suggested Darren Till as his next opponent.

Now next opponent I suggest is Darren Till ‘The Gorilla’. Darren Till fits the bill for what Jake Paul is looking for. He’s got a profile, he’s well known. He fought for the welterweight championship. He lost the welterweight title fight to Tyron Woodley former opponent of Jake Paul. He fought at welterweight and then at 185 for his last few UFC fights. Show on paper he is the perfect guy because he’s got notoriety, he’s got fame, People know him and he is the smaller guy. But down until whilst being the smaller guy, he’s very good,” Bisping said.

‘The Count’ did mention earlier that Paul selects fighters smaller than him but he suggested someone even smaller in stature. On the other hand, ‘The Problem Child’ who is 6’1” and fights at 200lbs has, however, called out Pereira next, who is at par with his strength, and height.

Paul calling out ‘Poatan’ infuriated Bisping because he knew that materializing this fight would be next to impossible since the Brazilian is still signed under UFC. Meanwhile, all is not calm in the BKFC and UFC world because Jake Paul’s father got involved in this tirade and called out Bisping.

Bisping does not harbor any affection for Paul and dedicated a full YouTube episode to bashing the boxer. He was already enraged that Paul wanted to fight Mike Tyson. ‘The Count’ criticized the 27-year-old extensively for the opponents he chose every time. However, Jake Paul won once again, and this time against Perry which came as a sweet present for him and his family. His father spoke about it on his podcast. Ten minutes into the show with his father, Paul Jr described how Perry and he had “mutual respect” for each other and he had nothing but admiration for his opponent’s fighting spirit and his techniques.

Paul Sr, however, was very proud of Jake’s accomplishment against Perry, as he said, “I think it was a great fight. F*ck you, Bisping, yeah, f**king what now, Oh saying Perry’s going to pick him apart’, so what now? What’s what? What’s his? Where are you going to stand on that? And I’m just proud as f**k.

Bisping was very disappointed with the result of Perry Vs Paul fight as he explained the reason for weight classes in combat sports. The main problem according to the UFC veteran was the size difference between the fighters and he even went so far as to suggest a comeback from retirement just to “smash this guy’s f***ing face in.
