The internet sensation Jake Paul took the MMA world by storm when he penned a contract with UFC’s rival promotion, PFL. While he picked up boxing and excelled at it, the transition to MMA raised a few eyebrows. The American celebrity racked up victories against former UFC fighters such as Ben Askren, Tyron Woodley, and also Anderson Silva in the past. Boasting a splendid record against MMA fighters, the Youtuber resolved to venture into MMA. However, any updates concerning his debut in PFL have dried up since the announcement. But, as reported by a senior PFL official, the promotion is on the hunt for an appropriate opponent.

Notably, the social media phenomenon, who is a staunch supporter of the fighters’ pay, will ‘absolutely’ mark his debut in 2023. While Tommy Fury halted his juggernaut when the two boxers met last month, the 26-year-old celebrity is already hitting the gym with a specific intention to dominate the MMA.
