UFC star Islam Makhachev held out the skilled challenger, Alexander Volkanovski, at UFC 284 to defend his lightweight crown. While the lightweight kingpin exhibited splendid striking skills, his title defense engulfed the MMA community as they hotly debated the outcome. Notably, the recent back-and-forth exchange between both fighters’ camps also seared up the atmosphere. In addition, the Russian fighter’s prolific performance also flew under the radar as the indictments took the central stage.
