How did the fans react to the comments?

Some fans didn’t find the Irishman’s tweets amusing, and some even reminded McGregor of his own recent MMA record.

Conor McGregor last fought at UFC 264 where he lost the fight in a TKO against Dustin Poirier. Not only that, the Irishman has lost 3 of his last 4 fights, he tapped out to Khabib at UFC 229 and Nate Diaz at UFC 196. It was this recent record that fans picked up to take a dig at him.

One user agreed with the 34-year-old. Thus he commented, “best shooter, went for 8 takedowns xd”

Another user pointed out that while Petr Yan lasted till the bell rang, McGregor couldn’t replicate the same.
