But, failed to anticipate a speeding car from behind in this instance. As the driver rammed into McGregor’s cycle, he sent the Dubliner flying. However, due to his knowledge of MMA and quick reflex, the former dual-champion managed to avoid any fatal injuries. However, his immediate reaction to the traumatic event really changed the way people see him. Many viewers felt his reaction showed maturity and compassion in that tender situation.

In a recent video titled “Conor McGregor’s near-death bicycle accident…” UFC Veteran, Chael Sonnen saw a glimpse of the UFC superstar’s true nature. The people’s champion went to lengths to detail the humble nature of the boy from Dublin, who recently announced his comeback to The Ultimate Fighter. Because let’s face it, McGregor kept his composure after the car collision.

Sonnen narrated in his video, “Conor was so rattled, you guys, he was so rattled.” He then continued, “You want to know what Conor did? He told the guy, ‘It’s all good. Safe travels. Be on about your way.’”

Speaking further on the same subject, Sonnen praised McGregor, saying, “I just thought that was an incredible thing. I really did. And that’s where you’re gonna see the real Conor.”

He concluded, “That was the real Conor McGregor. You can bet on that” in his reaction to the clip that went viral, related to McGregor’s accident.

Because any other person in his place would have all the right to be furious at a man who inadvertently tried to kill him. Sonnen explained the driver’s perspective and said, “The guy was in a bigger shock than Conor. It broke the guy’s heart that he hurt somebody’s bike, maybe almost injured somebody. And you could tell it.”

Since the accident, McGregor suffered some cuts and bruises around his body. However, the upcoming welterweight UFC contestant didn’t suffer any deep wounds from his clash. Nevertheless, many fans appreciated McGregor’s sound judgment in a moment of panic, to escape from the clutches of death. But, his rival Nate Diaz had a salty response to the shocking incident.
