Rodeo Time was hosting Cerrone, who seemed fired up about the fight. While speaking about it he mentioned how there are videos of 18-year-old Tyson and Paul doing the rounds of the internet. He said, “Have you seen the videos of Tyson at 18 and Jake Paul at 18? He’s [Jake Paul] like singing and skipping and doing some Disney shows. Tyson’s just world champion killing everybody.” Even though Tyson revealed to Sean Hannity that he was “scared to death” going into the fight, his videos of training say otherwise.

Dale Brisby then added, “ The thing that Tyson is going to have is just that first walk out. You know Jake Paul’s gonna be like ‘Man how is this gonna go.’” The Hall of Famer replied, “Mike Tyson is not gonna be thinking that.” He theatrically added that no one hit a punch like Tyson. They were concerned about the age difference and Cerrone hilariously pointed out how Paul might have played Mike Tyson Punchout when he was a kid. Cerrone is completely for Tyson and seems confident that ‘Iron’ Mike is going to defeat ‘The Problem Child.’

Mike Tyson claps back at critics

Iron Mike is going to be 58 when he gets into the ring with Jake Paul. However, Tyson is resilient and pointed out that the critics who reprimand him for his willingness to fight at this age have dismissed one main factor.   In an interview with Reuters, Tyson explained, “I’m 58, and what? I’m getting billions of views from just talking to somebody about fighting… Everybody, even most of the athletes, they’re jealous. That’s whack. … I say in your prime you couldn’t draw a million people, man. What are you talking about – you couldn’t sell out an arena. Who at 58 could sell out an 80,000-seat arena?”

The legend, the youngest boxer to win heavyweight titles, still exudes the same level of vigor at this age. He stated that Paul’s decision to face him was locked on the fact that no other boxer could provide the massive visibility that Tyson could.
