Jon Jones’ ‘definitely’ not compromised
As news of Jon Jones being injured broke out on social media, renowned physician Dr. Beau Hightower and Jones’ coach Eric Albarracin were quick to react and rubbish the rumor, denting the return hype of ‘Jonny Bones.’ They were adamant that Jones was in good health and ready to take on his opponent, Ciryl Gane, in their upcoming fight.

Responding to this post, Dr. Beau Hightower responded by saying, “He’s definitely not”. While Jones’ coach Eric Albarracin simply laughed off the rumor.
Despite the fact that Jones isn’t injured, he still has quite a big challenge in his opponent, Ciryl Gane, who has already anticipated one major weakness in Jon Jones.
Ciryl Gane anticipates a slow ‘Jonny Bones’
Jon Jones is moving up to the heavyweight division while Ciryl Gane is a natural at that weight class. Given that, ‘Bon Gamin’ feels one of the major setbacks for ‘Jonny Bones’ will be his compromised speed, as he moves up in weight.
The Frenchman is a dynamic striker with excellent movement and is confident in his ability to outmaneuver the former light heavyweight champion.

Gane said told TMZ, “I think it’s [Jon Jones’ speed] gonna be a little bit less faster than before… He’s really normal. When my weight was around 100 kilos-104-5[220 to 231 lbs.], I was a little bit faster. So yes, for sure, 100% he’s gonna be a little bit less[faster].”
It remains to be seen how ‘Jonny Bones’ will adapt to the change, but he is no stranger to overcoming obstacles. Tune in this Saturday to witness an epic battle between the two heavy-hitters at UFC 285.
