Miller is a well-experienced fighter himself but it was difficult for him to predict who would win because his logic and heart were in two places. He counted Chimaev to have the upper-handing grappling and said that both Chimaev and Whittaker had a bizarre striking style. However, Mayhem could not still arrive at a definitive decision as to who he saw as the winner.

He elaborated on it and said, “Man Whitaker’s got that style that you know it’s so exciting to watch and very like edge of your seat kind of kind of fighter. I don’t know if he has the wrestling ability to hold off Chimaev’s takedowns and the Swarm attack you know he kind of those guys uh striking style is so kind of bizarre where they come at you from all angles, and then they have the wrestling in their back pocket where they just, can just blanket you with takedowns and with a man that that that’s a tough one that’s one of those where my heart’s with Whittaker you know but my wallet might be with Chimaev.”

Meanwhile, Khamzat was handed the perfect strategy to beat Whittaker by none other than Mike Harrington.

Harrington cited a trick to make Whittaker lose

Borz has the upper hand when it comes to grappling but Whittaker is known to be resilient and filled with strength. Making him exhausted is not going to be a cakewalk. Thus, Harrington gave a tip to Chimaev in a podcast with Michael Bisping. He said, “If he [Khamzat] can’t finish him [Robert] early that could be a disastrous night for him in Saudi Arabia….If Robert Whittaker gets beaten typically you know it in that first round. That first, second round…And it’s like if you’re gonna do it against anyone Robert Whittaker makes the most sense because you know in those 25 minutes, he’s gonna find a way to gain the upper hand and win that fight.”  He added, “So empty the gas tank early and hope for the best Khamzat.” The 5 round fight in Saudi is going to be gruelling and Chimaev needs a strategy according to the veterans.
