Christmas is the season of joy and positivity. However, the MMA world was rocked with a piece of very saddening news, UFC’s crown lost one of its gems. Fighters across the world are reacting with shock and sadness to the news that UFC Hall of Famer Stephan Bonnar passing away at the age of 45. Bonnar, also known as “The American Psycho,” was facing heart complications since Thursday, December 22nd.

News of Bonnar’s passing has sent shockwaves through the MMA community, with many taking to social media to express their condolences and pay tribute to the fallen fighter. “Changed the landscape of the sport of MMA and pushed it to the next level. The UFC president Dana White knows the struggles he was facing in the early UFC days. He recalls how the late fighter was a huge help in the early success of the promotion.

He said, “Stephan Bonnar was one of the most important fighters to ever compete in the octagon. Him alongside Forrest Griffin were responsible to build the building blocks of success for the organization. ‘His fight with Forrest Griffin changed the sport forever, and he will never be forgotten. The fans loved him, related to him, and he always gave them his best. He will be missed“, he further added.
