Laura Sanko, who is making waves since her debut as a commentator, had an ingenious and clever method to cheat the Instagram algorithm.

The 40-year-old is witnessing a boom in her fame ever since she became the first female commentator in modern UFC at Fight Night 218. Further, her UFC 285 comments about the UFC fighter Shavkat Rakhmonov triggered another array of rumors that only boosted her followers. Following this, the former MMA fighter recently launched another bid to gain followers as she planned to distort the Instagram algorithm.

Therefore, the fan-favorite UFC commentator posted a beach selfie that landed a mass following in her comments section.

Sanko, in the caption, readily accepted her selfie as a thirst trap so that the algorithm could pick her up.

Thus, she penned, “My quarterly thirst trap so the IG algorithm will pick me up again 😂🤦🏼‍♀️”

While some fans alluded to her recent rumors associated with Rakhmonov, others admitted the trap worked wonders on them. One of them was UFC fighter Jamie Pickett, who wrote, “Father God”.

Sanko, however, set the record straight with her recent statements. She mentioned, “I don’t have a crush on the man. I like his fighting style.”

She mentioned she had to correct the record as an entire country believed in the rumors.

Thus, she summed up, “Still a fan. I just don’t have a crush. The entire country of Kazakhstan is very excited about it because I got like 20,000 new followers after that day. No, I have a husband.”
