Later on, the Hollywood actor admitted her appearance was the result of plastic surgery. In addition, she hit back at her critics in a cheeky way when she informed her swelling from the surgery had gone down. However, her comment attracted the attention of the UFC legend Jake Shields, who had a different take on the same.

Notably, the former Strikeforce champion took to Twitter as he made a scathing remark on the 64-year-old. The outspoken former UFC title contender, staying true to his brash attitude, remarked that the actress posted an ‘L’. Resonating similar reactions, the MMA fans drew a parallel between her and another legend from combat sports, Cris Cyborg.

In her tweet, the renowned songwriter mentioned how ‘cute’ she was after the swelling had subsided. Moreover, she appeared in a cap that said “spiritually hungry”.

Thus, she wrote, “Look how cute i am now that swelling from surgery has gone down. Lol”

In response, Shields, who was a member of ‘Skrap Pack’, replied, “Women posting their L’s”

Subsequently, the fans took a dig at the American pop icon as the comments varied from bee sting allergies, Cris Cyborg, and Tupac. On the other side, others defended the superstar as they believed her plastic surgery did not hurt anyone.

The comment suggested Madonna could play Rocky Dennis in the remake of Mask.

Earlier, in one of her Instagram posts, Madonna also clarified the focus on her was unwanted. Further, she added, “Once again I am caught in the glare of ageism and misogyny That permeates the world we live in.”

“A world that refuses to celebrate women past the age of 45 And feels the need to punish her If she continues to be strong willed, hard-working and adventurous,” she added later on.
