Israel Adesanya pulled out an array of celebrations after he knocked out his arch-nemesis, Alex Pereira, at UFC 287. His iconic celebrations then also received an incredible edit, alluding to the befitting comments he once made before his first title defense against Pereira last year.

‘The Last Stylebender’ redeemed himself at the Miami fight card when he connected a right hook in the second round of the headliner. As a result of the blow, the Brazilian laid frozen on the canvas. This was the UFC Champion’s first win over the Brazilian fighter, who prevailed over him on three separate occasions. Overwhelmed with emotions, the New Zealander then unfurled some memorable celebrations and also parted with words of wisdom.

Likewise, his celebration of hitting ‘Poatan’ with arrows and then subsequent shenanigans in the Octagon attracted eyeballs. And notably, video editor Ray Rod recreated the visuals in the theme of Disney’s hit, Frozen. The same later made its way to American rapper Snoop Dogg.

Israel Adesanya issues a hilarious response to Snoop Dogg

In the lead-up to their first encounter in the UFC, the Kiwi fighter had specified his intention to leave the former kickboxing rival “frozen like Elsa”. The same comment then became a staple of their rivalry. But the Middleweight kingpin failed to match his actions with the words and lost the title at UFC 281. However, it wasn’t long before the 33-year-old proved his words.

In the edit, Adesanya hits a hammer fist on the unconscious Pereira, whose body immediately turns into ice. The subsequent bow-and-arrow dig, referring to his previous losses, fires arrows that shatter Pereira’s body into pieces. The comical clip climaxes with Adesanya bowing down to Olaf, a fan-favorite character in Frozen.

But, an unimpressed Adesanya wrote, “Cringe”.

Previously, he had also shared the same edit across his social media accounts. And the caption reads “Life is just one big cartoon. I’m the main character.”

Since his return to the Middleweight throne, the 24-2 record holder is going back and forth with surging contender Dricus du Plessis. Adesanya ignited the heated exchange as he specified his intention to “drag his carcass across South Africa”. ‘Stillknocks, in response, expressed he feared nothing.
