Looks like things got a little heated at the Fury Pro Grappling 6 weigh-ins. Lightweight UFC fighter Terrance McKinney shared a tweet of an altercation that went down between Eddy Torres and Richie Lewis, and let’s just say things got a little intense. In the heat of the moment, Torres throws a punch at Lewis‘ jaw, and all hell broke loose.

But McKinney had a hilarious take on the situation. In his tweet, he mentions that Lewis is actually Volkanovski (the current pound-for-pound number one in the UFC) and that Torres just threw a punch at the top-ranked fighter. Talk about a misdirection!

It seems like some fans took McKinney‘s tweet seriously, mistaking Lewis for Volkanovski. But it looks like most people took the humor in stride, and the tweet was well-received overall. It’s always good to see fighters with a sense of humor; also, especially in the midst of all the drama that can come with being in the UFC.

Terrance McKinney wants the face Pimblett fight

Terrance McKinney is gearing up for his highly anticipated fight against Ismael Bonfim at UFC 283. But he’s also made it clear that he’s interested in facing off against rising star Paddy Pimblett in the future.

He said, “I already know that [I won’t get Paddy Pimblett]. That’s why we’ve got some good names to call out in Brazil. Lord willing, everything goes to plan, because it’s a fight, anything can happen, so we’re taking it very seriously.”

“Like I said, we’re putting the pressure on him, and he’s going to have to fight a pace he’s not used to fighting. We’re going to see who’s tougher.” He further added.

After Pimblett’s controversial win over Jared Gordon at UFC 282, the 28-year-old lightweight from Washington took to Twitter to call out McKinney and express his disagreement with the judges’ scoring of the fight. However, it looks like McKinney is ready to take on Pimblett, and we can’t wait to see these two fighters face off in the octagon.

Who will come out on top? Only time will tell, but we’re sure it’s going to be a thrilling match.
