The world of technology has taken yet another leap towards the unknown, as AI, deep fakes, and various other technological advancements are getting frighteningly good. It has become almost impossible to differentiate between what is real and what is not. With access to these tools being available on everyone’s smartphones, the unimaginable is now a reality. TikTok has recently launched a new filter that has left everyone speechless. This filter is so good that it is almost impossible to recognize it with the naked eye. The filter has caught the attention of UFC star Israel Adesanya, who shared the viral video on his social media account.
The internet has erupted with disbelief in response to the filter, owing to how it completely transforms one’s appearance drastically and makes it seamless. The fact that the filter is so realistic has left people’s jaws on the floor. This advancement in technology is proof that we are moving towards a world where the line between reality and fiction is becoming increasingly blurred.
