In attendance, at this extravagant party in 1997, were big names such as “Willis, Schwarzenegger, Shaquille O’Neal, Don Johnson, and Madonna” recalled the ‘Rambo’ star.

But Jean-Claude Van Damme and Steven Seagal stood out among them, because of the bad blood they had. The action stars gained popularity in the 80s and 90s for their crowd-pleasing action flicks.

Steven Seagal fled the party with fear

Aikido master, Steven Seagal, had a reputation for bigging himself up while knocking his contemporaries down. Van Damme finally got an opportunity to confront Seagal at Stallone’s party in Miami.

But Seagal wasn’t ready to take on anybody that night, according to Sly, who stated “(Van Damme) offered him the chance to step outside so he could wipe the floor with him, or should I say, wipe the backyard with him. Seagal made some excuse and left.

But the iconic martial artist was not ready to take no for an answer. The ‘Universal Soldier’ apparently tracked Steven Seagal around Miami to teach him a lesson. ‘The Rocky’ actor told “Van Damme, who was completely berserk, tracked him down and again offered him a fight, and again Seagal pulled a Houdini.

Stallone gave his take on who would come out on top if they ever fought. “I have to say I believe Van Damme was just too strong and Seagal wanted no part of it. That’s just my opinion.”

That’s the story of how we almost got an answer to who’d win in a fight between Steven Seagal and Jean-Claude Van Damme.
