Rogan’s overall craft was on display when he hosted Kanye West on his famed show, The Joe Rogan Experience.

Rogan had a conversation with the American rapper, Kanye West, on the JRE podcast episode #1554. These two renowned names talked about various things, but Rogan asked West a question that made the rapper emotional.

The former Fear Factor host said, “When anybody ever talks about you to me, they say, ‘he’s all over the place.'”

Rogan offered how he defends Kanye West against them; “I say, ‘I think he’s got a different power source’.”

Thereafter, the 54-year-old asked, “So, you do go on these rants that sometimes needs to be dissected into individual things, but overall you’re incredibly productive. So, my question is – Why do people think there’s something wrong with you?…”

Kanye West replied, “I’ll say these two things – I think very three-dimensionally. I don’t think in the black and white lines that I’ve been programmed in thinking and I think in full color…”

“So, when I talk, it’s not a rant, it’s a symphony of ideas… Yeah, you know, I, I just tell the truth. And telling the truth is crazy in a world full of lies. That’s simply it,” concluded West.

Rogan was fascinated by the 45-year-old’s mindset.

How did Joe Rogan react to Kanye West’s words?

The JRE host was all-in listening to West’s admission. However, he didn’t agree with his assessment.

Rogan said, “None of the things you’re saying is crazy… I can see that you’re thinking in these different layers. And you’re looking at things with all these different perspectives and they all come together out of your mouth like a tornado of ideas.”

Rogan understood why people would assume that West had ‘crazy’ dialogues. But he labeled West as a ‘thorough thinker’.
