Very few fighters have attained the level of success and fame that former Lightweight champ Conor McGregor has. Ever since he stepped into the Octagon, the way for McGregor has only been up. Even today, although he has been away from the Octagon for nearly 2 years now, Conor McGregor is still the biggest name in the game.

Of late, McGregor’s actions have been somewhat questionable, and that has landed right in the middle of multiple controversies. However, the Irishman has a heart of gold and he proved that recently with a sweet gesture towards his head coach, John Kavanagh when he was in New York.

Let’s face it – Conor McGregor, although loved dearly by his fans and fans of the sport, has not been in the best light recently. Ever since he took time away from the UFC after his injury, the Irishman has found himself encircled by one controversy after another.

However, McGregor’s gesture toward his longtime coach John Kavanagh was really heartwarming. Apparently, Kavanagh had messaged his ward upon seeing one particular bottle of wine in a social media post and asked him to savor it. A few hours later, McGregor had the same bottle delivered to Kavanagh’s hotel room, out of the niceness of his heart. The bottle was a 2005 Petrus Pomerol the price of which ranges from anywhere between $5,816 to $7,530.
