Cardi B spent a sizeable amount of time at her paternal grandparents’ home in Washington Heights, but she moved to the South Bronx when she was 8. As expected, the change was tough. In addition, girls in her school tried to pick fights with her when she was in sixth grade. The American heartthrob, however, never backed down from a fight.
She said, “When I was in sixth grade, a lot of girls if they wanted to fight me and I felt like I kept fighting every single day. It got to the point that when I was in middle school, it was normal to me. It’s like, ‘I gotta do this like. This is what I gotta do’.”

Cardi B’s latest concert in Las Vegas attracted attention when a fan threw a drink at her. Aggrieved by the act, she threw her mic back at the fan. The viral clip suggested the songwriter was lip-syncing, which appears to be at the root of the outburst. Former UFC fighter Chael Sonnen then weighed in and labeled it a “repetitive crime“.
In a tweet, he wrote, “100% refund by LAW. Class action. Multimillion dollar repetitive crime caught on tape. Attorney General, silent.” The wronged fans also put forth a demand for a refund, and it remains to be seen whether they will be successful in their endeavor.
