A high school teacher didn’t bother about his life while he tried to break a fight between two students. MMA has witnessed a boom in its popularity since the UFC established itself among the world’s top sporting promotions. With UFC becoming a household name, its associated martial marts have gained significance too. One of them, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, emerged as a famous martial art practiced by an array of demography. Further, BJJ, sometimes tipped as a defense-oriented style, is gaining favor among students, majorly as a method to fend off bullies and defend themselves.
However, one video recently made rounds when a BJJ student almost choked out her classmate as their scuffle gained heat. The chaotic clip from a school also included the heroics of a teacher who tumbled and faced the brunt of the students’ blow. Despite the classroom being in a state of disarray, he successfully separated the two students.

The high school teacher separates the two brawling students
In the video, the fans could notice Big Shirley lashing out at a comparatively smaller classmate. She dragged and dropped her, even banging her head on some occasions.
However, Big Shirley became a victim of her classmate’s BJJ skills when the latter jumped onto Shirley’s back. Not only Shirley gave her back but also found herself locked in a rear-necked choke on the floor. The high school teacher jumped in and tried to separate the two. Later on, the teacher tried to shield the smaller classmate while Big Shirley chased them, even exchanging abuses with her classmate.
The high school teacher held his ground firmly and eventually separated both classmates when other teachers also joined in.
How did the MMA fans react to the teacher’s brave efforts?
While some fans lauded the high school teacher for his efforts, others mentioned how risky the profession had become recently.
A comment pointed out that no one involved in the clip was trained in BJJ.
No one is bjj trained in this video
