Furthermore, the UFC and Dana White heavily rumored Borz’s clash against Former UFC Middleweight Champion, Robert Whittaker. However, the Auckland native offered his side of the story to address these widespread rumors. After Paulo Costa pulled out of their scheduled bout. Robert Whittaker never had Khamzat Chimaev on his radar
Robert Whittaker denies any possible bout between him and ‘Borz’ for the upcoming UFC 284 event featuring Islam Makhachev vs Alexander Volkanovski as the main event on Feb 12, 2023. As Whittaker clarifies his exchange with the UFC, he claimed was never offered Chimaev or someone from the middleweight division.

In an interview with FoxSports MainEvent, Whittaker was asked if he was offered, Khamzat Chimaev in Perth for UFC 284.
Then, Whittaker responded “Okay, I wasn’t offered anybody. Just clarify things I wasn’t offered anybody.”
