While the final details of Nate Diaz-Jake Paul’s fight have been chalked out, the fight recently hit a cloud of uncertainty. The Stockton native recently pushed his wacky demand of moving the fight to a different state. The former UFC star wants a major overhaul of the fight venue after a ruling from Texas.

The atrocious demand has already added a supporter in UFC bantamweight star Sean O’Malley. Diaz, a staunch marijuana advocate and user, got his request for marijuana exemption shot down in a Texas ruling. Therefore, Diaz is ready to risk his boxing debut against ‘The Problem Child‘ as he specified his intent in a tweet that read “We gonna have to move states”. However, ‘Sugar’ believes the former UFC personnel might have a decisive say largely due to his stubborn nature.

Daniel O’Malley put his faith in the tactics and star power of Diaz and said, “He’s [Nate Diaz] gonna get it moved. They’re gonna have to move it.”

Likewise, the #2 ranked bantamweight stated, “I feel like he’s so stubborn and so like, ‘All right. I’m not gonna fight’. Like a dead as* about it that you almost have to move the card.”

“Unless he’s like ‘F*ck. I’d need money’. I can’t imagine that’s the case, or they’d take his bluff and then he says, ‘Fine, I will’ or you know what I mean, right?” he added later.

O’Malley casts doubts on the possibility of Diaz having his way

Following this, after due consideration of factors, O’Malley listed the compelling reasons for not moving the fight.

He pointed out, “I mean, they might have already booked the venue. They might have a date. They might already sold the tickets there. I mean, there’s a lot of reasons to not move it.”
