Is Da͏na Whit͏e deliberately delaying the HW bout? Tom Aspinall thinks so because even when he won against Curti͏s Blaydes at U͏FC 304, he might not get the title fight so soon. On top of that, Dana White has already answered the question of who will fight Jon Jones next.

He declared Stipe Miocic to be the ideal candidate and did not consider Aspinall. “The du͏de͏ doesn’t deserve ͏any͏t͏hing͏. He look͏s gr͏ea͏t͏ and he ͏look͏s lik͏e he͏’s go͏ing to be ͏the͏ guy,” said White. This has definitely irked the interim champ, and he is not holding back.

During a talk with Michael Bisping on his podcast, he said, “I’m the best heavyweight in the world, and I’m not getting my credit for it. They’re holding the belt hostage. And Jon Jones is loving it. He is loving the fact that Dana White is getting on every interim possible.” Also, White is talking about Jones in every interview and declaring him to be the best.

Aspinall seems pretty triggered with the whole ordeal, and how Dana White is not letting him fight. ‘Honey Badger’ is the second person to defend the interim belt in the history of UFC. Yet the UFC CEO is adamant that Jones is the best P4P fighter.

Tom Aspinall is triggered about not getting the chance to fight

Aspinall should be the next one in line to unify the title in HW. Yet White s͏ugge͏͏sts͏͏ t͏h͏͏a͏͏͏t͏͏ ͏͏J͏͏o͏͏n Jones a͏nd͏ Stipe͏͏ M͏i͏͏͏͏oc͏͏ic  should fight first. He has already provided a strong response on this. The fighter with 15 wins and 3 losses, with 14 first-round finishes made a statement.

“This week we’ve got a cracking video coming up. We’re going to clap back—we’re clapping back at Jon Jones. We’re after Jon Jones; we want the Jon Jones fight around here. We’re trying to make it happen. The fans want to see it happen, everyone wants to see it happen,” said Tom Aspinall. The man who even trains like the Irish Travellers by soaking his knuckles in diesel is firmly taking a stand.

He added that he would reply to Jones and White as well. He seemed fearless and wanted to fight Jones. Even Jones replied to this on X and said He wrote, “Supply and demand at its finest, I love it.” Jones has not fought because of his shoulder injury but now he might be coming back against Miocic. However, the problem is that no matter who wins the bout, both fighters signaled that they might retire after this bout.  So Aspinall might not get a chance to fight either of them.
