Two-time UFC middleweight title winner Israel Adesanya has been winning inside the Octagon but is still facing trouble outside. His ex-girlfriend, Charlotte Powdrell, recently allegedly sued the middleweight champion for half of his wealth from the UFC fights. The real estate agent and former nurse dated the champion between 2019 and 2020. After their breakup for undisclosed reasons, she decided to sue him.

However, after that, there has been back and forth between them, especially when it comes to legal issues. Meanwhile, he talked about his future when it came to family and how he would treat his future wife, in his sit-down with Demetrious Johnson. Let’s see what Adesanya expects from his love life in the future.

While talking to Johnson about his feud with Alex Pereira, he also spoke about his plans on family and marriage. Johnson has been married for 12 years, so he asked Adesanya about his plans, especially because Adesanya has a new project in real estate. The Kiwi announced recently that he would be investing in real estate with assistance from his dad. The ‘Last Stylebender’ credited his dad, Oluwafemi Adesanya, for all the planning. This made Johnson ask about his love life in the future.

Adesanya, who has already faced financial legal battles with his ex-girlfriend, said, “Any b** that comes into my life they think like this is their fu** happily ever after and I have to be like ‘nah baby’ like this is not that.” However he also said, “But everything I do is for my future wife and my future kids. I wanna set this up so when I am done I can just be like …I wanna be there.”

Ultimately his main goal is to be there for his wife and children and he declared that he is doing this project of real estate so that he can be with his children and see them grow up. According to the fighter, he wants to be present in his family life rather than going out to work or fight and not giving attention to his children. He has already faced a legal battle where his ex-girlfriend claimed that she contributed to the middleweight champions’ career and wanted half of his earnings. He did not hold back when he defended himself.

This was a jibe at his ex-girlfriend, who wanted half of his earnings from his career. This move also sent his fans into a frenzy, and there were mixed reactions from them. Some fans appreciated his sense of humor, while others started to debate the underlying message of the post.

All in all, it is clear that he does think about a future with children and a wife, but this time he might be more cautious when selecting his life partner. Israel Adesanya is also likely to face Dricus Du Plessis in his next bout; he has given the green light to Dana White. It is only interesting to see how personal and professional life will turn out in 2024.
