Armbar submissions can deteriorate and even break one’s arm. Subsequently, it becomes necessary to go under the knife if the arm is broken. Moreover, in the case of Belbita, she need not go for surgery as it is reported her arm is not broken. However, according to her, she needs to get an MRI checked on the arm as at the very least there appears to be a ligament tear.
UFC journalist, @aaronbronsteter took to Twitter to report her CT scan being negative, however, the fighter replied, “No broken bone. I have to do an MRI as soon as I get back into Canada. It feels like a torn ligament”
