The Eagle never saw a cage?

During an interview with VK, he revealed that he’d never seen an MMA cage before his UFC debut, and the legend had not even fought in one. He said, “I wanted to see the cage; I’ve never seen one before. Yes, and in my previous 16 fights, I fought in a ring or an open mat. I first saw the cage during the weigh-ins. They set it up for the fights, and I saw a cage for the first time. Not just a UFC cage but any cage.”

The host asked him, “So your preparation was outside the Octagon?” and his answer was affirmative. For 16 fights, he had not seen the UFC Octagon. The legend declared that as a young athlete who always loved watching UFC, his only desire was to fight inside the cage. ‘The Eagle’ declared that when someone comes onto the stage and the door closes, it adds to the spectacle and gives adrenaline. He wanted to taste the feeling of being inside the legendary cage.

Khabib Nurmagomedov’s strength and motivation

In a previous Instagram story, his cousin highlighted the bond he shared with the UFC legend. It had a quote by Khabib that said, “Be a champion everywhere in life – in your home, with your friends, with your family.”

‘The Eagle’ was the dominator in UFC throughout his career, and the lightweight champion also held a position as an instructor and even a promotion owner. At present, he seems not to have any sporting objectives left to accomplish and concentrates more on his family. Beyond the octagon, the UFC Lightweight Champion not just had victories but also genuine sportsmanship, which was proven during the renowned showdown against Conor Mcgregor.
