The former two-time champion is again visiting his past in a now unfamiliar territory heading into his headliner against Nassourdine Imavov. But he’s not the only one who is stressed and needs to prove himself.

Sergei Pavlovich, who is running on a 2 fight-losing streak after an amazing 6-fight winning marathon, needs redemption. We also have 15-5 heavyweight  Jairzinho Rozenstruik who is fighting against Pavlovich coming in with a two-fight winning streak. But those are not the numbers we will look at today. Sergei Pavlovich faces Jairzinho Rozenstruik on February 1. As per Sporty Salaries, he was supposed to earn a $110k purse for his last fight, which was a clash against Alexander Volkov. As per The Sportster, Rozenstruik was going to earn $250k for his last bout against Tai Tuivasa. These fights happened in 2024 and the heavyweights could earn a similar purse this time around as well.

When it comes to Pavlovich, he lost two of his last fights and for UFC 295, he might have received $256,000 for their co-main event bout. As for his opponent who just defeated Tai Tuivasa at UFC 305, it was a lucrative deal as well. Jairzinho Rozenstruik received $11,000 in promotional guidelines compliance pay for his fight at UFC 305. Rozenstruik defeated Tai Tuivasa in a split decision in the heavyweight main event and got a rather heavy payback.

Let’s travel back to 2024 and 2023 to see how much the duo got paid for their last fights. As for Jairzinho Rozenstruik, he had fought against Shamil Gaziev at UFC Vegas 87 and defeated him in a highlight reel TKO. It is estimated by Marca that he might have received $130,000 for his fight. 

As for his opponent, Pavlovich, his last fight was against Alexander Volkov in 2024, and he recieved a payment of $110,000. With all the bonuses and other perks, it might have been more.

Meanwhile, the Surinamese heavyweight fighter has been in the MMA world as a pro since 2012. He currently boasts a 15-5 record in MMA and has some serious knock-out power in his fists. He might not be among some of the well-known fighters at UFC but his knockout power has placed him among the most dangerous in his division. However, since he does not get the limelight like most other fighters in his category, Rozenstruik does not earn as much as he might deserve.

His recent bout happened in 2023 and Rozenstruik earned a supposed $236,000 to fight Jailton Almeida. This purse also had a base of $90,000 with a $90,000 bonus for Fight of the Night. He also achieved a $50,000 performance bonus and sponsorship fees of around $6,000.

This payday was definitely lucrative for him, but it was still far away from the money that some UFC stars get. So counting the payouts and sponsors Jairzinho’s net worth does stand at an estimated $1 million.

On the other hand, Pavlovich had the biggest payday from his fight against Curtis Blaydes at UFC Vegas 71, where he received a massive paycheck of $465,000.
