Rafael Fiziev is a rising star in the world of UFC, and for good reason. The Kyrgyzstani fighter is proving himself inside the octagon time and again with his impressive moves. Fiziev made everyone sit up and take notice after he defeated some of the biggest names in the sport, including Rafael dos Anjos and Brad Riddell. However, what many don’t know about Fiziev is his affable personality outside of the ring. Recently, he engaged in some friendly banter with fellow fighter Petr Yan, much to the amusement of their fans. He was teasing Yan due to his choice of wearing designer clothes.
As Fiziev prepares for his next fight against Justin Gaethje at UFC 286, he has received some support from an ally – Petr Yan. The two fighters go way back, all the way to their days in Thailand.
Yan, who trains at the prestigious Tiger Muay Thai & MMA Training Camp in Phuket, has often trained alongside Fiziev, and the two have become good friends over the years. Moreover, even Khamzat Chimaev joined them for training recently.
