Mixed Martial Arts is one of the most difficult combat sports. It involves kickboxing, BJJ, wrestling, and boxing, amongst other disciplines. Therefore, it requires a special person who is capable enough to master, learn, and excel in sports. Recently, Zion Clark, an MMA fighter born without any lower limbs, won his first MMA fight. Perhaps this is the beginning of a special journey for Clark and he celebrates in style.

Clark is suffering from caudal regression syndrome since his birth. This affects fetal development in about one in 60,000 live births every year. As a result, he doesn’t have legs since his birth. However, this hasn’t stopped him from working hard to make it as an MMA pro.

Furthermore, he also took part in the Olympics and Paralympics and holds the record of being the fastest man on two hands. In addition, he lives by the mantra: “No Excuses”, as seen on the tattoo on his back.

Zion Clark celebrates in style

As someone who was bullied and made fun of in school, Clark has come a long way. He recently made his professional MMA debut against Eugene Murray.

The 25-year-old Ohio-based fighter won his debut fight against an able-bodied fighter. Clark‘s fight went on for 3 rounds before completing a successful takedown. The victory was confirmed with a unanimous decision from the judges.
