The podcast host learned that his friend and comedian, Brian Simpson, was drugged to help him with Attention-Deficit/ Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). So, he was unable to cope up with his studies and found them boring, when he was young.

Rogan said, “Like if that’s the case, imagine the solution is to drug you.”

“It’s not like he’s so smart, This is all stupid to him.” and adds that Albert Einstein shared the same backstory. Because he was so different from the others, he couldn’t pass the 7th grade.

“Like, that was Einstein you know, like Einstein failed like seventh grade.”

Rogan added “Like, how the f*ck can… If you fail Einstein. I mean, you gotta think that maybe the way you’re teaching is kind of f*cked.”

Therefore, if someone as intelligent as Einstein can fail a simple 7th-grade exam, the education system has to reevaluate itself to accommodate special children.

Joe Rogan became an inspiring father to his daughters and believes that sports are crucial for kids. Therefore, he’ll never understand why some teachers expect children to sit still and do nothing. The podcast host explained that it’s natural for kids to run around and cause a ruckus. Because that’s what makes them kids.

Rogan said, “I know you’re trying to give them discipline and train them to be good students, but that is absolutely not what they want to do.”

“Kids are like puppies, they wanna run around, they wanna have fun, that’s natural.”

Therefore, the podcast host stressed that it’s important for children to be free and explore their interests.
