In a recent episode of the Joe Rogan Experience, Former MTV VJ, Adam Curry elaborated on Elon Musk’s ultimate goal to be not so dissimilar. The 55-year-old was overwhelmed after he realized it was actually possible.

Joe Rogan stands against a centralized digital currency in the future

In episode 1930 of JRE, the stand-up comedian had significant concerns with the crypto revolution’s ultimate goal, which was to establish a centralized digital currency. Because a centralized common digital currency would use social strings to tie people down. Therefore, the UFC analyst believes we must stand against such policies.

Rogan said, “I think we have to resist that. With everything that we have.”

“The idea that there’s a centralized digital currency connected to a social credit score system is absolutely f***ing terrifying. Because people self-censor already.”

The 55-year-old then added, “If they’re financially penalized for not following (the rules), which they are in China. In China, if they vary. If they stray from the path and, you know, criticize the government or… talk sh*t about anything… Like you can’t f**ing buy plane tickets. You’re not going anywhere.”

The BJJ black belter understands that people do not need another reason to tie their lives to a social credit system. However, knows that the Chinese government implements heavy penalties for speaking against their rule or spreading any anti-political content on social media. As the policies extend their control over citizens’ virtual accounts as well.

The JRE host has all the qualities to become a president

Joe Rogan is a politically sound person. As American author Bret Weinstein and Entrepreneur Patrick Bet-David recently debated the podcast host’s political ambitions. They considered him to excel in their criteria for a people’s president. However, Rogan himself is not keen to become a president. But fellow Americans would agree with Rogan on his stand against a centralized form of digital currency.
