Former champion Henry Cejudo has expressed his opinion on the upcoming lightweight championship fight between Islam Makhachev and Alexander Volkanovski. Cejudo believes that it is still premature for Cormier to make such a claim because Makhachev hasn’t fought the best yet and hasn’t fought some of the tougher guys in the 155-pound weight division.

He said, “Makhachev only has, literally he hasn’t even defended his belt yet. We haven’t seen him up against Poirier, we haven’t seen him against a lot of these guys. Yeah do I believe he could beat all these guys 100%.
