Joe Rogan was recently proven right about his steroid accusations against the ‘Liver King.’ The UFC commentator is an avid fitness enthusiast who often gives his thoughts on related topics. In a recent episode of The Joe Rogan Experience, Rogan discussed Hollywood A-lister Chris Hemsworth’s physique and spotted a common behavior around steroid use.

In episode #1905 of JRE, Rogan hosted popular YouTuber and fitness guru Derek. Derek exposed the ‘Liver King’ for steroid use on his channel ‘More Plates More Dates.’ During their chat, Rogan and Derek discussed popular Hollywood stars and their physiques to further elaborate on the use of steroids.

Rogan and Derek talked about Hugh Jackman’s physique for the role of ‘Wolverine.’ The 55-year-old called Jackman’s physique “actually achievable.” However, Rogan still commented that Jackman probably took something to achieve that physique because he looked massive. Continuing, he said, “Hemsworth got bigger than that.”

Derek agreed with Rogan but added that the Thor actor had better genes too. He also mentioned talking to one of Hemsworth’s old trainers, who hired another trainer to help the actor prepare for the first Thor movie.

According to Derek, this trainer had no recollection of Hemsworth doing any steroids and claimed it was “all natural” as far as he could remember.

“It’s a weird world, isn’t it, where you’re supposed to be full of sh*t about that kind of stuff? Because it’s so obvious to people,” said Rogan.

Derek responded, saying he did not mind actors using steroids to achieve a superhero character’s physique. However, the fitness guru took issue with them lying about it and using those physiques to market fitness-related apps and other businesses.

“Well, I don’t think there’s anything wrong with doing steroids to achieve that sort of a physique for a movie. I do think there’s something wrong with lying about it,” concurred the BJJ black belt.

The former Fear Factor host also added that admirable characters like Hemsworth’s ‘Thor’ and Dwayne Johnson’s ‘Black Adam’ influenced people. Therefore, people who saw their physique while playing these characters would aspire to achieve the same.

Rogan once praised Hemsworth for his hard work

Rogan may have openly stated his suspicion about Hemsworth taking steroids. However, that did not stop him from praising the hard work that the Australian actor put into achieving the demigod’s physique.

He voiced his appreciation for Hemsworth while talking to fellow comedian Andrew Schulz on his show ‘Flagrant’ back in June 2022.

The JRE host mockingly mimicked people who dismiss Hemsworth’s physique for using steroids. He added, “For sure USADA’s not knocking on Hemsworth’s door but, you don’t get that big without immense amounts of hard work. There’s no way. You just don’t. People think he’s always just taking steroids. Bro, relax!”

Besides Hemsworth, Rogan also named ‘Aquaman’ star Jason Momoa as one of the hottest guys around.
