‘Lioness’, gearing for her bantamweight title defense for the sixth time against Julianna Pena at UFC 289, found a reason to cherish in the midst of training sessions. The Brazilian fighter, who is the first openly lesbian UFC champion, is expecting her second child after the couple welcomed their child in September 2020. The current women’s bantamweight and flyweight champion, on numerous occasions, credited her success in Octagon to their lovely relationship.
One of the handfuls of fighters to reach the double champ status, Nunes took to her Instagram handle and broke the news to the world on Friday.

The Brazilian fighter posted a photo with her wife and former UFC fighter, Nina Nunes, alongside their sweet daughter, Raegan Ann.

Notably, Nina Nunes holds a small ultrasound photograph in her hand. Also, the couple shared a glimpse of Raegan responding to the live ultrasound monitoring and finally a snippet of the ultrasound image itself.

In addition, the caption also revealed the couple had already decided on the name of the upcoming baby.
