Georges St-Pierre took the combat world by storm with his comeback announcement. It has been almost six years since the Canadian fighter fought under any UFC card. After putting the body on the line for several years, it appears the former UFC champion is enjoying his time off the Octagon. He recently experienced a mesmerizing and vibrant night filled with music, all thanks to the pop star Drake.

The American pop icon has captivated fans with his music and beats, and he added another fan in the UFC Hall of Famer. He swayed the UFC veteran with his enchanting music. The 42-year-old fighter, who always seems to find time for Drake’s concerts, registered his presence at the singer’s recent show.

Georges St-Pierre swayed by Drake’s beats

The former 3-time welterweight champion turned to his social media handles and shared his experience. Further, he disclosed his favorite song from the pop icon.

Sharing the visuals of Drake singing ‘Started From The Bottom’, he captioned, “My favorite song of @Drake”. Currently, the 2013 hit has over 500 million views on YouTube.

This was not the first time when ‘Rush’ took out time to enjoy the $250 million pop star’s concert. In August 2015, when he was on a hiatus and had relinquished the UFC gold after defending it against Johny Hendricks, he had another memorable night at OVO Fest. In addition, the 26-2 record holder revealed he had a “rough” morning due to the vivid experience he had in the night.

He wrote in a heartfelt tweet, “Thanks to Angello, @Drake & his team for the great time yesterday at OVO Fest in TO. This morning was rough… lol”.

With all the outside Octagon festivities GSP is enjoying, one question looms large. Who is he facing next in his professional grappling debut?

The MMA fighter is yet to pick an opponent for his grappling debut at UFC Fight Pass Invitational 6 on December 14. While he went through a list of probable opponents such as Nick Diaz, Nate Diaz, and even Khabib Nurmagomedov, he promptly said no to one name.

The former UFC associate doesn’t want to risk the debut against ‘The King’ Gordon Ryan. He said, “If there is a guy that I would not want to compete against in submission wrestling, it’s Gordon Ryan. Let’s pretend I didn’t say this.”

However, the name of his opponent still remains shrouded in mystery.
