WOW! Colby Covington Reveals That Famed Rapper Lil Wayne Will Walk Him Out at UFC 268

UFC welterweight Colby Covington sat down exclusively with Submission Radio in the wake of his recent fight announcement. Chiefly, ‘Chaos’ will be taking on the undisputed champion Kamaru Usman at UFC 268 in a rematch that is long overdue. Both men had a ‘Fight of the Year’ candidate showdown during their first outing and fans want to see them run it back.

Usman vs Covington will headline the mecca of fight sports in Madison Square Garden during the UFC’s annual trip to New York. The Garden has been home to some iconic moments in UFC history and Covington is looking to pile onto that tradition. He revealed that famed rapper Lil Wayne will be walking him out at UFC 268 and also divulged the walk-out song.

“I definitely will be having Lil Wayne walk me out. My boy Lil Wheezy, he’s my favorite rapper. Lil Wheezy, my favorite artist and rapper growing up. He’s the best rapper alive. He should be a President, he’s such a great person.”

“He has such smart philosophies and ideas. And he’s going to be walking me out to the ‘Sky is the Limit’ because the sky is the limit.”

An appearance from the iconic rapper will certainly elevate the viewing experience for fans during the aforementioned live event. MSG has continually produced postcard-worthy moments, and it looks like UFC 268 won’t be any different.

Covington has been to the White House and received a call from the President on air after his fight with Tyron Woodley. Now with Lil Wayne walking him out, Covington’s detractors will certainly not hear the end of his.

However, it’s Covington’s ability to throw down that is keeping him as relevant as he is. If he managed to win the undisputed strap from Usman, there’s no saying how high his ceiling will be.
