After recently announcing his retirement, NFL quarterback Tom Brady made a surprise appearance at the T-Mobile Arena facility in Las Vegas on Saturday night. The former Tamba Bay quarterback is a long-term friend of UFC president Dana White and is appropriating his free time in the activities he missed during his tight schedule of NFL days. The 45-year-old witnessed the proceeding at UFC 285 up close as the fight card promised fireworks and fast paced-action. Notably, the stacked card headlined by Jon Jones taking on Ciryl Gane attracted the eyeballs as ‘Bones’ endeavored to cement his legacy.

Further, the gold at 265 lbs also offered him the opportunity to reclaim his pound-for-pound king title. Jones proved critical in the match as he recaptured the UFC gold and now sits at the top of the heavyweight division.

Tom Brady graced the UFC 285 with his appearance

The San Mateo native joined the likes of Conor McGregor, Jake Gyllenhaal, and many others at the UFC 285. The NFL star also received cheers from the fans who acknowledged his long sporting career.

However, some speculated on the timing of his appearance as his ex-wife, Gisele Bündchen, started dating her BJJ instructor, Joaquim Valente.

Thus, he said, “It’s great to see the GOAT doing what he does best and doing what he’s meant to do. I thought seven titles was a lot. You doubled it man.”

“And I know tonight’s not going to be easy. Ciryl Gane’s standing on the other side of that Octagon. He’s a bad man. It’s gotta be an incredible fight. Dana knows how to put on a great show as always, and I wouldn’t this was one for the world,” he added later on.

Later in the video, he also promised to express his support by marking an appearance at UFC 285 that he fulfilled.
