Many fans saw no ill intent behind the American columnist’s original tweet and chose to back him.
The hate for skip is weird. Stopping the game completely for an injury is pretty unprecedented. Dude was being realistic and even the NFL tried to make them continue

However, some fans agreed that the show had to go.
Horrible show anyways. Maybe we get lucky and they cancel out each other

Both gotta go. Ruining sports talk

Furthermore, a fan remembered the pair’s exaggerated personal debate. Regarding Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ legend, Tom Brady. And pointed it out to be the moment the show went downhill.
Skip's tweet was not wrong at all. However…. he disrespected Shannon that time about the Brady debate. The show has been broken since. It's just a matter of time before they go their separate ways

But, some fans consider this feud to be a great boost for the show, to increase their audience.
This is exactly what that show is all about and unfortunatly they really had success this week

Most views they gotten in a week. No one wants to watch a circle jerk between commentary.

Skip Bayless’s controversial tweet that started the drama
American Reporter Skip Bayless had to comment on the sensitive matter of Damar Hamlin‘s injury. But, instead of praying for his health, the acclaimed journalist commented on the postponement of the NFL match. Which brushed his co-host and many NFL fans in the wrong way.
No doubt the NFL is considering postponing the rest of this game – but how? This late in the season, a game of this magnitude is crucial to the regular-season outcome … which suddenly seems so irrelevant.

However, Hamlin’s health condition is getting better. And even Bayless clarified that his intention was to throw some light onto the proceedings of the sport, as it’s an interesting circumstance.
