The athlete recently announced his wish to take a break from football and focus on boxing. He will be making his debut in professional boxing, going against Uriah Hall, an MMA fighter. Hall vs Bell will be a 4-round professional boxing match, that will take place on Oct.29 at Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona.

Journalist Mike Bohn of ‘MMA Junkie’, went to Twitter to announce the news, “Retired UFC fighter Uriah Hall will face Le’Veon Bell in a four-round boxing match at 195 pounds on the undercard of the Jake Paul vs. Anderson Silva event on Oct. 29, per sources.”

Many fans thought the match-up between the two fighters was absolute madness.

Fans are audible in letting Bell know that he was not going up against any other guy, but a professional martial artist who went 18-11 in his UFC career.

Professional boxer and Social Media Influencer, Jake Paul, replied to Bell’s tweet announcing the fight. Paul said, “Respect to both men. Pro boxing debuts. I’m watching this one closely.” showing his support for both Uriah Hall and Le’Veon Bell.

The Jamaican mixed-martial artist, despite not being able to use his legs, is a clear favorite with his experience in MMA. But, fans believe that Hall should be quick on his feet and properly land his punches to give himself an edge.

It is certainly questionable as to why Le’Veon Bell is taking a huge risk, being inexperienced in fighting and going up against an MMA fighter. Especially considering it’s his first professional outing in the ring.

But, The American NFL star is displaying confidence going into the match. Maybe he wants everyone to underestimate him going in as second-favorite. That way the pressure gets to the opponent.
