The WWE and the UFC are the biggest promotions in their business. Both have global popularity and fan bases with stars and superstars who transcend their sport. And one such personality is Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, probably the best wrestler on-mic in the history of the UFC. Unsurprisingly, he went on to become a massive Hollywood superstar with countless box-office hits to his credit.
But, ‘The Rock’ recently proved that his heart is as big as his muscles, with a special gesture for a UFC fighter from Africa, which Israel Adesanya appreciated and posted about it on his Instagram.

Johnson surprised Themba Gorimbo, a Zimbabwean who moved to the United States to pursue his dream of becoming a UFC fighter with a total of $7 in his pocket. Gorimbo was homeless and living in the gym where he trained. ‘The Rock’ visited him at the gym and surprised Gorimbo with a new house in Miami. He shared a video with the video documenting the incident with the following caption:

“We’ve never met but I had to fly to Miami to look this man @thembagorimbo_mma the eyes, hug him and shake his hand. I’ve been moved & motivated by his story ❤️
He recently won his first fight in the @UFC.
He had $7 bucks in his bank account when he won.
He sleeps on a couch in the gym.
After the fight, he sold his fight gear (trunks & gloves) on line and made $7,000. Instead of using the money to find a place to live, he built a bush pump so his village back in Zimbabwe can have clean water.
He never asked me for anything, but I just wanted to help the guy out. $7 Bucks ya know.
And I felt the MANA & emotion in every hug 😊💪🏾
Very good and very special day.” Johnson wrote.
