The MMA and fitness world has been stunned by The Liver King controversy. Brian Johnson, also known as ‘The Liver King’ has gathered a massive following for his primal lifestyle and strange eating habits. In a recent development, e-mails have surfaced that suggested Johnson was using anabolic steroids. As per reports, King used steroids worth $12,000 per month to keep himself in shape. UFC’s Chael Sonnen weighed in on the controversy by saying the influencer had more to apologize about. He suggested Johnson should start afresh and accept that the diet he flaunts to his audience isn’t real.

Additionally, he also compared King to John Cena.

Talking on his YouTube channel which has over 1 million subscribers, Sonnen said, “What I’m asking is does the character who is the one that apologized to you does the character continue on with the eating the raw and very hard to get meats or does the character go in a different direction which is load up carbs, fat, and sugar load everything, and then work your a*s off and do it twice a day”.

 Adding further on why he thought the apology from King was not enough, he said, “The guy didn’t apologize to you, the character apologized to you. Where does the character go now.”

Chael ‘The Voice’ Sonnen was not content with The Liver King’s recent apology about his PEDs. He suggested that King should come out with an honest acceptance of his lies about his eating habits.

Sonnen said, “I feel like for the character there’s still a place to go but is the character who apologized for the anabolic use willing to go a step further which is to set anabolic aside, I also don’t eat the way that I’m claiming I eat not often not regularly I don’t make my family do this. I don’t have a deal with the butcher, I’m not going back and forth, that none of it’s true.”
