The Dana White-led UFC 251 thrilled the fight fans with a successful stacked card that saw all the title contests go to their final rounds. The success of the event is also evident with the reported PPV sales of $1.3 million this week. However, not every fight fan is happy regarding the result of the UFC 251 matchups.
While Kamaru Usman and Petr Yan successfully notched their respective titles in fashion, featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski’s win over Max Holloway has already garnered a lot of backlash from the fans. Even UFC President Dana White expressed his disapproval towards the result of the UFC 251 co-main event and stated that he won’t hesitate to line up Max Holloway against Alexander Volkanovski for the third time.
Despite that, Dana White is still unwilling to change the judges for his upcoming UFC events. Although UFC fans have deliberately displayed their disapproval towards the judge’s scoring system, Dana revealed why he is not going to change them for the Fight Island events.
