The only possible other suitors for Correa include half the league, but realistically, it seems as though the Yankees, and Cubs remain the favorites. The teams are likely concerned about factors like health and form going into the signing season. And a 10 year contract is more than just a statement of intent. It is a statement of commitment.
While the teams wait for the lockout to end, it looks as though Carlos Correa, stands to advantage out of a big payday coming his way.
