In what turned out to be an incredible day for all Gunners, Arsenal outclassed Tottenham Hotspur with a sensational performance. Emile Smith Rowe, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, and Bukayo Saka were all on the scoresheet at the Emirates, recording a convincing 3-1 victory. Among many who predicted their triumph, Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce was one who backed the North London giants for a win.

Despite their shaky start to the season, Arsenal looked solid at the back with key players returning from injury. However, given their impressive display over the weekend, and Shelly’s spot-on prediction, both Gunners and Nostradamus must be proud.

Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce gets her predictions spot on

As Fraser-Pryce is an ardent follower of the Arsenal football club, it is no surprise that she always tweets about their games. Thus, her tweet ahead of the Derby shows her confidence in the rather underperforming squad, while also taking shots at arch-rivals, Tottenham. Safe to say, she is a true Gunner.

The North London Derbies have produced some sensational matches over the years. Thus, Fraser-Pryce looked confident about her team and must have surely loved that win over the weekend. However, soon after her athletic career is over, she wishes to play for the Gunners.

“When I’m retired I’ll come and try out for the Arsenal Ladies team. And who knows, maybe I’ll get in just by speed alone. I’ll play forward, as long as everybody else passes me the ball. That’s fine, I’ll do that. I think I’ll work good running the flank too!,” said Fraser-Pryce.

Legendary sprinter, Usain Bolt accomplished his dream of becoming a soccer player. Hence, Fraser-Pryce looks to be going in the same direction, hoping to represent her most beloved soccer club someday.
