Arnold Schwarzenegger hails from a little town in Austria called Thal; hence, he is referred to as ‘the Austrian Oak.’ From the 1970s through the 1980s, Schwarzenegger was unstoppable in bodybuilding contests because of his remarkable physique. The remarkable condition of his body also helped him win seven Olympia titles.

The mythical figure afterward became curious about the theater business. When he first arrived in America, though, he was met with widespread criticism since no one believed he had a shot at making it big in the film industry. The icon made his way to the top of the acting world through hard work and appearances in several blockbuster films. The famous parts he played in these movies were made possible by his remarkable body. While he had previously been in multiple action films, his fans got to see him in a new light in the 1988 comedy Twins.

Fans were surprised to see the Austrian Oak, who is known for his imposing size, in a comedic film like Twins. However, Schwarzenegger prevailed, and the film was a commercial triumph. The celebrity tweeted their appreciation to a supporter who had found the advice in his newsletter to be helpful. A fan pounded Arnold Schwarzenegger with the same query, this time reading, “But you gots to admit it took you a long way from swords, fists, and heavy gunnery to this mindset, didn’t it?!,” to which the legend had a very specific response.

Schwarzenegger replied to this tweet, saying, “Everybody is shocked when they find out I’m more Julius than John Matrix.” Rather than being John Matrix from Commando (1985), the icon emphasizes his resemblance to Julius Benedict from Twins (1988). He compared himself to one of the characters from his successful films and gave reasons for the comparison.

How did his fans react to this tweet?

It’s certainly a big move on the legend’s part to openly declare which character he most resembles. It didn’t take long for the replies to the tweet to be flooded in by his legions of devoted followers.

Rather than giving out their own opinion, this fan cheered the legend, as they say, “You are Arnie. And the best ever.” Another fan describes both of his iconic characters as they left a comment that read, “Julius is more kind hearted and innocent person! Jhon matrix is savior of him.”

Most of the movies that Arnie acted in were hit films, as one comment read, “You got all the good stuff…” As the legend mentioned his two iconic characters, one comment pointed out another iconic character from the hit film, The Terminator “Hmmm wher is t-800?”
